This album is a collection of tracks composed over a few past decades. Some of these pieces are more refined and finished, other ones are less so; this way or another, I assembled them here so they don't perish altogether in the digital dumpster of malorganized backups...

Unintuitively, the album's title is not inspired by the author's lengthy and blissful abode on the shores of the Pacific. “West Coast” is what I saw that memorable—gloomy and bleak—November 1996 night in Moscow, Russia, when I first took my Roland XP-80 out of the box and turned it on. “West Coast”... My heart sank, “There’s no chance I could ever call it my home”. The beautiful thing about life, however, is that it's totally unpredictable.
